For the price the quality is better than expected!

I am going to start off by saying that I got the 3XL as that was smallest size available for a vine review item. Costumes usually run small so I was betting that it would fit pretty close if not just slightly too big. I am 5'6 190 lbs. That being said, it was a little big, but not in a bad way. I feel like it was very flattering on. The color is gorgeous, the beading is so detailed. The sheer sleeves add an elegant touch, and the overall design feels true to the era. Paired with long gloves and pearls, it really completes the look.

I love the accessories that came with it. The pearls were not cheap feeling like most costume jewlery, they were heavy. The earrings are super cute as well. The head dress with the peacock feather is really pretty and pulls the whole costume together. The gloves were a little tight for me, but I don't think the costume would be complete without them. This dress was very comfortable and the beading didn't bother my arms at all.

If you are looking for a higher quality costume at a good price that will bring you straight into the prohibition era, this is perfect. I would definitely recommend this one.

This really nice quality "vintage" appearance Gatsby -era (1920's) gown costume set is super fun. The fabric is stretchy and a deep black lace color with fringe and lots of sequins and beads It is very very sparkly! And very LONG! It is meant to drag the ground, I think and it does! I am average height. If you are tall, this dress would really work for you. For me, I step on the hem in front quite a bit and have to hold it up with my hand to avoid tripping, however, that is part of the fashion trend of the 1920's!

The fit is on the smaller size but since the fabric is stretchy, it should fit most body sizes comfortably. The beading and sequins do stretch with the fabric so they don't pop off They stay adhered well.

Along with the gown comes over the elbow evening gloves. These work well if you don't have large hands or arms. They run a little bit small. The fascinator is a fun addition. It also comes with earrings and a double strand of pearls.
