This dress is gorgeous! It looks just like the picture and has the perfect amount of stretch.

Even with all the embellishments, it's very comfortable to wear, and I love all the accessories! Such a great value!

I haven't washed it yet, but it seems like it will hold up well. The fit is true to size. Get it!

This Great Gatsby flapper dress will be perfect for a murder mystery dinner I will be attending in a few weeks. It is elegant and over the top all at the same time. I couldn't believe the amount of accessories it came with and each one adding an extra layer of intrigue and glamour. The gold sequins are done very well and everything about the design looks and feels intentional. The fit is spot on perfect for my body shape which is hard to do sometimes. The sizing chart was very helpful in this regard. Great costume!

Dress is really pretty, and everything fit great, but I would advise sizing up if you like a slightly looser fit like I do (photos are in one size up from my "regular" size). Absolutely love the cut and length as well. I have another dress in this style that I love, but is a fair bit shorter. The accessories are fantastic...I didn't wear the earring in the photos but they are so pretty and right in line with the time period. Even the gloves fit perfectly! I RARELY find gloves that fit my upper arms the way they should, so this was a lovely surprise.
It has a back zip closure, but I was able to put it on like a pullover. I don't like things that fit crazy tight, so depending on how one wears it, that zipper my be more important. No pockets (although at the time, that wouldn't have been standard...not that this is historically accurate but hey). Pearls are actually quite lovely and look like pearls, not white beads, which is really nice. They are about as close to real pearls as I've ever seen in what I assume are faux. The headpiece is super cute. I love the strands of gems and chains hanging off of it! The shawl is so pretty too. The black and silver looks really nice together, and it will look perfect with my silver clutch (another happy surprise for me). I do like that it's just right to be able to wear it with other items as well.
Plus size outfits from this time period are hard to find...This is my third time trying, but this is the first one that once I got it on, I was so excited I didn't want to take it off. It really is a beautiful outfit, all the way, and while all the beading and sequins will require special care when cleaning, it feels like it is well-made. This is one of those that I'd recommend having on-hand when a roaring 20s party comes along...or just to wear to the grocery store for fun.

I fell absolutely in love with this flapper costume set. Although I wear a medium/large, I usually order one size up as it's been my experience that sizes can run a bit small.

Not with thise set. This is an XL through and through, and maybe even a bit larger. So in my experience, sizes run true here. It's too large for me. I was thinking I could take it in, but the workmanship on the sequins is wonderful, and they are matched at the seams to the point it would be quite difficult to alter the size downward.

There is a lot of attention to detail on this set. I LOVE the Art Deco styled earrings. I would have to say the gloves are the weak spot; they don't seem to have the quality of the dress and capelet, but keeping in mind that this is basically a costume, they get the job done.

I'm really impressed with this set.
